"When children become truly engaged with the natural world at a young age, the experience is likely to stay with them in a powerful way --
shaping their subsequent environmental path" by Nancy Wells

The Eastover Science committee is created and run by parent volunteers to help teachers and students pursue their passion for science by providing Classroom Presentations and Field Trip opportunities.
Our mission is to increase self-confidence and literacy in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics of K-5th grades at Eastover Elementary.
Our volunteers are a diverse group of parents with a wide range of skills and expertise. Our goal is to make a difference in your student's life.
Don't just stand on the sidelines-- get engaged in Science!
